Refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling
Eligibility, timeframes, deposits, no-shows, and how refunds are processed for lessons and clinics.
This policy applies to tuition for the Volume & Price Action Intensive, private chart coaching, evening volume clinics, and market open walkthroughs offered by DevTool API Digital. It does not cover broker fees, data subscriptions, or third-party software you purchase on your own.
Eligibility overview
Refunds depend on how early you cancel, whether a deposit or full payment was taken, and whether the lesson has already begun. Educational seats are not “products shipped in the mail”; once live instruction has started, partial refunds follow the rules below.
Intensive (four-week cohort)
- Full refund: Cancel in writing at least 14 days before clinic one.
- Partial refund (60% of tuition): Cancel between 13 and 7 days before clinic one.
- No tuition refund: Cancel fewer than 7 days before clinic one, or after clinic one has begun.
- Deposit: A 40% deposit, when used, is credited toward tuition. Deposits become non-refundable inside the 7-day window before clinic one, matching the no-refund rule above.
Private coaching
Cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before the session for a full refund or free reschedule. Inside 48 hours, the session fee is forfeited unless we cancel. Packs of four sessions: unused sessions remain valid for six months; refunds for unused prepaid sessions after that period are not available.
Evening clinics and open walkthroughs
Cancel at least 72 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside 72 hours, we may offer a seat on a later date of the same lesson type instead of cash, subject to availability. No-shows are not refunded.
Work already started and materials
Once a live clinic or coaching hour has begun, that portion of tuition is earned. Annotated PDFs already issued for an intensive week remain yours; we do not claw back files, and we do not refund for materials you chose not to download.
Purchased materials
We do not sell separate physical kits. Any printed handouts distributed in the Yungkang studio are included in tuition and are not itemized for partial refund.
How to request a refund
Email hello@devtoolapi.digital with your name, lesson, scheduled date, and reason. We confirm eligibility within five business days.
Processing time and method
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 10–14 business days after approval. Bank timelines may add a short delay beyond our processing.
Our cancellations
If we cancel a lesson, you may choose a full refund or a seat on a replacement date. If we reschedule and the new time is impossible for you, you may take a full refund.
Exceptions
Serious documented emergencies may be considered case by case for coaching and clinics; intensives inside the 7-day window remain subject to the schedule above unless we waive it in writing.
