How we collect, use, retain, and protect personal data when you contact us or book lessons.
Data controller

Data we collect
- Identity and contact details you submit (name, email, phone if provided)
- Lesson preferences, markets traded, and message content from forms
- Basic technical logs needed to operate the site (for example, server logs)
- Cookie-related preferences as described in our cookie policy
We do not ask for broker passwords, account numbers, or government ID through the contact form.
Purposes
We use personal data to respond to inquiries, manage bookings, deliver lessons, send administrative messages about clinics you reserved, and improve how lesson pages are understood when analytics cookies are accepted.
Retention
Inquiry messages are kept up to 24 months unless a longer period is needed for an active booking dispute. Booking and payment records are retained as required by applicable Taiwan accounting and tax rules. You may ask us to delete inquiry data earlier when no booking remains open.
Your rights
Subject to Taiwan personal data protection law, you may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email hello@devtoolapi.digital. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent Taiwan authority.
International transfers
If a remote tool we use stores data outside Taiwan, we take reasonable contractual and organizational steps appropriate to the transfer. Lesson video links are sent only to confirmed participants.
Security
We limit access to booking information to staff who need it for teaching or administration. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; please avoid sending sensitive financial credentials by email.

We may revise this notice by updating this page. The date of substantive changes will be reflected in site publication updates.
